International Day Of Happiness!

While faced with this global crisis and the feeling of being isolated from your co-workers, friends, family, gyms and every other area of familiarity of your life, don’t forget to take a moment and appreciate all that you have.

Today is the International day of happiness. Take these three simple steps to try to maintain your emotional stability and a healthy mental state.

  1. Keep calm! There are a lot of things outside of our control but remember to breathe and focus on what matters. I know it sounds cliche but find your happy place, something that calms you. Maybe yoga, reading, a movie or some type of meditation.
  2. Stay wise! Making wise decisions will help everyone. Choose positive actions that support your wellbeing and that will encourage others to do the same.
  3. Be kind! We are all in this together. It doesn’t matter about your political or religious views, your sexual preference, the color of your skin, age or sex; stay connected and supportive as a community. Simply, be kind!
